FENDI fashion illustration story
FENDI fashion illustration story
I was commissioned by Commons&Sense to create two double page illustrations for their issue n°43 (published on August 27, 2012) , inspired by the FENDI AW 2012/13 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
Commons& Sense is a biannual japanese fashion magazine, distributed in 18 countries and 25 cities around the world. C&S has existed since the late 1990’s. At almost 400 pages per issue, Commons & Sense feels more like the leisurely approach of a book in which images can be fully elaborated and explored rather than crammed into the space dictated by the restrictions of slimmer publications.

Mood/Style: Luxury warriors / elegance made of contrasts / primitive look.
The magazine cover was illustrated by talented Liselotte Watkins.
